Board Member, National Academy of Public Administration
Robert Shea currently serves as a principal of the Global Public Sector practice at Grant Thornton, where he leads the Communications, Public Policy, and Performance Management teams.
Mr. Shea was formerly the Associate Director for the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Additionally, Mr. Shea has held several important positions in the U.S. Legislative Branch and Executive Office of the President, where he worked to improve performance and operations of the U.S. Government. He managed OMB's internal affairs and led the President's Performance Improvement Initiative, an integral component of George W. Bush's President's Management Agenda.
Mr. Shea was elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration in 2006 and currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors.
